In Four of a Kind, four cards of the same value like 8, 8, 8, 8, or King, King, King, King should be in the same hand. In Full House the combination is three of a kind along with a pair like 10, 10, 10 and 6, 6. If there are five cards of the same suit but not in sequential order, it is called Flush. A Straight hand means that the cards are in sequential order but not of the same suit. Three of a Kind means three cards are of the same value like 4, 4, and 4. In a Two Pair hand the player must have two sets of cards of equal value like 7, 7 and 9, 9. A Pair hand must have two cards of the same value. Understanding the value of poker hands can help a player win the much cherished prize pot.
