The game starts with the dealer who is also a player in the game. The betting starts in a clockwise manner and the person sitting to the left of the dealer calls the first bet. This is called the small blind and the big blind. The first two 'face down' cards are then given to each player. The first round of betting starts from the left of the player who has called the big blind. Each player now has the option to place his bets and raise it. After the first round of betting is over, the first three community cards are dealt. These cards are common to the hands of the players. The third round of bet starts where the bets are limited to the upper stakes. It is then raised and when the betting is completed the fifth card called the River is dealt. Each player is allowed four bets per round. The last bet of each round is called the cap. The highest five-card hand wins the prize pot. When a player has exhausted all the buy-ins he can no longer take part in the proceeding but he cannot be forced to forgo his hand either.
